Use your Silhouette system to cut fusible fabric hearts with attached “stem” to wrap onto a shaped wire form as you create a one-of-a-kind wreath. Download file includes a large asymmetrical heart outline template (approx. 11” x 9” at largest dimensions) to follow when creating your wreath form from a wire coat hanger. Forty stem heart PAIRS are cut from fusing-added fabric (use Silhouette’s “fabric interfacing” or Heat N Bond Ultra Hold, etc.), then two hearts are layered back-to-back with a floral-gauge wire between and heat-fused together with hot iron. Use a torn fabric strip 1/2” wide (or brown florist’s tape) to wrap and cover the wire heart frame while adding and wrapping in the stems of the hearts one-by-one spaced approx. 3/4” apart. (If you prefer to make an all-paper wreath, cut the DOUBLE heart shape, fold at perfs, and glue center to a chipboard-reinforced cardstock heart wreath form.) Perfect for Valentine’s Day seasonal decorating, or make one to match your regular décor.
