Five (or six) layers create a dimensional ornament to hang on a Christmas tree, as multiples from chandelier for an “arial” display, from hallway pegs at different lengths, to embellish a package, attached to a narrow dowel to spruce up a plant pick. Cut from Silhouette’s chipboard, then spray paint with sparkle spray for an extra sturdy and dimensional version. Extra shapes include optional backside brad cover sawtooth circle, dimensional point shape without tab for thick media (chipboard) construction, and center, side dimensional point shapes for cutting contrast accent shapes as desired. CONSTRUCTION: ID the snowflake shapes from left to right in the original cut file A thru D. Layer one or two A shapes, then B shape for the bottom snowflake layers. Layer C and D shapes for the middle layers. Assemble the six dimensional points by bringing side extensions upward by folding at perforation, glue center edges together, (or glue and tuck tab behind opposite side). Apply glue to backside of center triangle area of each point, then position near largest snowflake points so that widest part of each match up. NOTE: dimensional points will cover some of the B shape. Insert optional brad through center hole (or place a round jewel over the hole on front and back). Cover brad prongs on backside with sawtooth circle.
